I'm proud to announce that I have been selected as one of eight screenwriters in eastern Canada to participate in WGC/Bell Media Diverse Screenwriters Program.
Over the next few months we will join our counterparts from western Canada in an intensive screenwriting
experience. First, we will attend a TV series boot camp in Toronto
(April 28-May 2) where we will pitch our original concepts to
broadcasters, and sharpen our TV writing skills.
Next, each writer
will team up with a WGC mentor to develop a portfolio of script materials
that will determine who among them will win the prized internship on a
Bell Media TV series.
I feel fortunate to have been chosen by a highly competitive program and aim to make the most of this opportunity in TV.
