LITTLE MAO (satire)


Dear Comrades,

Welcome to the Little Mao page.  

Little Mao is a short film I'm directing and writing.  It tells the life story of Chairman Mao Tse-Tung through a child's baseball team. 


It'll be made with the generous support of Bravo!FACT, The Ontario Arts Council and the National Film Board's Filmmaker Assistance Program.


Watch for updates here or join the Facebook fan page as we begin pre-production, enter production, then finish post-production later this year.. Photos, updates and trailers will appear here in the months to come.

CASTING CALL

LITTLE MAO seeks boys & girls, 10-12, who can play basic baseball for this short comedy. Seeking all races and ethnicities. Kids will make up a neighbourhood baseball team.

Will pay.

Auditions in early-July.

Two-day shoot in mid-August in Toronto.
